Checking Accounts

We offer a variety of checking account products. They are Free Checking, Personal Checking, Business Checking, and Corporate Checking. The Personal and Business Checking accounts are interest bearing and the Free Checking and Corporate Checking are non-interest bearing accounts. All the accounts can have Internet Banking and free Bill-Pay.

Free Checking

This account is totally free and offers all the available conveniences! Non-interest bearing account.

• To be eligible and to earn interest, the account must be for personal use or a nonprofit organization

Cheviot Prestige Checking

Offers tiered interest rates for those customers who carry higher account balances. Interest bearing account – tiered interest rates. Ability of Debit/ATM Card, Teller24 telephone transaction availability, Free Internet Banking & Bill Pay.

Cheviot Gold Checking

A special checking account for our customers over the age of 50. This account offers premium benefits that you've earned such as higher interest rates, free checks, free travelers checks, cashier checks and money orders. Investment services and free seminars also offered.

Clean Slate Checking

A full service account for those individuals who have had trouble managing their funds in the past, but wish to re-establish their standing within the banking community. We offer you both the services & information that will help you better manage your money.

Business Checking

To be eligible and to earn interest, the account must be for a sole proprietor or an individual doing business under a trade name. We reserve the right to require proof of the entity structure prior to opening the account.

Corporate Checking

This account is not eligible to earn interest. Corporate accounts are comprised of corporations, partnerships, associations, and business trusts.

To establish a Checking Account, we require a minimum deposit at the time the account is opened. We also require that a minimum balance always be maintained, or a fee will be imposed.
